About Kelem International School
Kelem International School offers a Swedish profile of education in English, following the Swedish Curriculum (LGR 11) for mandatory schooling. Established in 1946, the school has over 70 years of experience and caters to approximately 150 children aged 3 to 14.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in management or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience as an executive assistant (minimum 6 months).
- Language Skills: Comfortable communicating verbally and in writing in both English and Amharic.
Requirements and Skills
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
- Working knowledge of office equipment (e.g., printers, scanners, fax machines).
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain an HR documentation system.
- Maintain documents, office files, and records for compliance with educational standards.
- Prepare written materials (reports, memos, letters, etc.).
- Write and distribute emails, correspondence, and forms.
- Update and maintain office policies and procedures.
- Maintain stakeholders’ contact lists.
- Provide general support to visitors.
- Respond to calls, concerns, and complaints, providing information or referrals.
- Assist the HR manager with job inquiries and manage incoming CVs.
- Attend to all incoming phone calls and correspondences, ensuring follow-up.
- Perform any other executive tasks as needed.
Working Hours
- Monday – Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Friday: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
