Job Opportunity: Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP) – Technical
CARE is looking for a Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP) – Technical for an upcoming pastoral livelihoods program aimed at enhancing resilience, food security, and economic growth in Ethiopia’s lowland areas (Somali, Afar, Oromia, and SNNP regions).
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Chief of Party (COP) to lead and guide the project.
- Supervise technical teams and ensure project efficiency.
- Develop and implement work plans aligned with project goals.
- Provide expertise in market systems and livelihoods.
- Build relationships with stakeholders and ensure gender equity in programming.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
- 8-10 years of senior experience in international development.
- Familiarity with USAID projects and the Ethiopian context.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
