Job Opening: Procurement Manager
Role and Responsibilities
- Ensure proper procurement of raw materials, chemicals, and spare parts for both product and non-product category requirements.
- Develop policies, procedures, and strategies for procurement and supply activities; present to management for approval and implement once approved.
- Design evaluation models for analyzing bids.
- Create procurement policies and procedures in line with the company’s strategy.
- Ensure compliance of procurement activities with organizational rules, regulations, and strategies.
- Implement cost-saving and reduction strategies related to procurement functions.
- Establish and monitor procurement processes, including RFQs, receipt and evaluation of quotations, bids or proposals, and negotiation of contract conditions in compliance with regulations.
- Monitor the implementation of procurement processes to eliminate deficiencies.
- Develop and manage supplier rosters, including selection, evaluation, and performance measurement.
- Acquire equipment, machines, materials, and spare parts from local and foreign sources at the right time, quality, quantity, and type.
- Produce periodic performance reports for the department and submit to the immediate supervisor.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Supply Chain Director.
Job Requirements
Academic Requirements
- MA/MSc/BA/BSc in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Management, or related fields.
Work Experience
- 6-8 years of relevant experience in the beverage industry.

- Emotional maturity.
- Proficient in business applications.
- Language skills: English and Amharic; Afan Oromo is preferable.
