Description:
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Register guests and assigns rooms;
-Assists in pre-registration and blocking of rooms for reservations;
-Thoroughly understand and adheres to proper credit, check- cashing, and cash handling policies and procedures;
-Understands room status and room status tracking;
-Must be sales-minded;
-Performs cashiering tasks like bill/invoice settlement, posting charges to the guest, paid out’s, Foreign currency exchange etc
-Uses proper mail, package and message handling procedures and record details in the courier Mail Register;
-Advice guest of any messages, mail, faxes, etc. received for them;
-Reports any unusual occurrences or requests to the manager;
Required Skills:
-Maintains the cleanliness and neatness of the front desk area;
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
-Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously;
-Compassionate attitude and ability to deal with patients and visitors in a respectful and empathetic manner;
-Proficiency in Microsoft Access and CNET software;
-Having customer Service, CNET, computer and communication skills;
-Strong time management and organizational abilities;
-Eager to learn, willing to improve and develop professionally;
Qualifications:
-BA Degree/ Level IV/III/II/I in Marketing/ Business Administration/Hotel Management or in other related fields.
Work Experience:
-A minimum of 0/2/4/6/8 respectively relevant years of experience.
-Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role preferably in a Hotel/Gust House.
