Roha Medical Campus PLC (RMC) is building an integrated health campus in Addis Ababa. When complete, it will provide world-class, high-quality, affordable healthcare across multiple hospitals and facilities. The campus will include a medical school and facilities for research and innovation. It will be set in a lush, green setting, built to the highest sustainability standards, and have a beautiful urban park open to the public. We are seeking an energetic, responsible intern to join our growing organization. In this position, you will be supporting the Environment & Social Department at Roha Medical Campus.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development & implementation of the stakeholder engagement plan for Roha’s environmental initiatives.
- Support the execution and monitoring of the company’s environmental and social (E&S) strategic initiatives,
- Research and implement initiatives to support the RMC’s net zero strategy,
- Research and identify potential stakeholders who can support RMC’s net zero strategy projects,
- Investigate and implement various environmental restoration methods,
- Compile a comprehensive list of available technologies for environmental stewardship in hospital settings,
- Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as required to ensure overall company and all projects are on track for success from an Environmental perspective.
Job Requirements:
Successful applicants have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, are flexible and imaginative, are energetic, persistent, detail-oriented, and are self-starters. Applicants could demonstrate this by having the following:
- A fresh graduate from environmental science, environmental engineering, sociology, or a related field.
- Knowledge of the latest community social safeguards and concepts, as well as a strong interest to learn
- Knowledge and experience in public participation procedures.
- Eager to learn and apply multidisciplinary knowledge.
- Knowledge of Ethiopian and international environment related policies.
- Interest in and knowledge of organizing meetings and training.
- Expected to engage with different stakeholders.
- Amharic and English writing, reading, and speaking fluency are required.
