Available Positions
Position 1: Senior Developer
Qualifications:
- BSc/BA degree in MIS, Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
Experience:
- Four (4) years of relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of Islamic Finance Banking (IFB) is advantageous.
Specialized Skills Needed:
- Proven experience in software development.
- Ability to coach, share knowledge, and train colleagues.
- Strong attention to detail and high-quality software delivery.
- Experience in translating user requirements into specifications.
- Proficiency in web services APIs.
- Experience in writing scalable, globally distributed applications.
- Java expertise (Java SE and Java EE, including frameworks like Spring Boot).
- Backend development experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and containerization (e.g., Docker).
- Skilled in SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle).
- Familiarity with tools and technologies such as Maven/Gradle, Git, and CI/CD tools.
- Ability to optimize performance and work with caching mechanisms.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and authentication/authorization protocols.
- Experience with unit testing (e.g., JUnit) and debugging skills.
Duty Station: Addis Ababa (Head Office)
Position 2: MIS Manager
Qualifications:
- BSc/BA degree in MIS, Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
Experience:
- Eight (8) years of relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of Islamic Finance Banking (IFB) is advantageous.
Duty Station: Addis Ababa (Head Office)
Note
Training in Islamic Finance Banking is advantageous.
