The planning Engineer role holder should be well versed in project reporting & preparing baseline programs, schedule updates, recovery programs and timelines as per project management plan.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or related field of study
- Specific work experience of 3-5 years in road/highway construction.
- Experience must include all phases of construction from planning to closeout and as a minimum must also include experience in earthworks, sub grade, road bases, asphalt, structures and road furnishing works
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare quantity take off for planning & schedules.
- Co-lead preparation of baseline program, schedules, milestones, deliverables and timelines as per project management plan
- Maintain detailed construction planning schedules for new construction and renovation work, as required.
- Develop and analyze man-hour resources, equipment resources and cost loaded, time-phased schedules.
- Producing visual aids to help explain the schedule of work, including bar charts and network diagrams Coordinate with all project parties to collate project status reports
- Conduct regular project site inspections.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports.
- Track projects continuously and identify schedule variances of project status against schedule baseline.
- Coordinate with Construction Engineers for resolution of project control issues on site.
- Track delays and prepare lessons learned throughout the whole project.
- Monitor project progress against an established baseline.
- Prepare other reports as advised by the Planning Manager
- Manage Jr. Planners and planning Engineers as required by the Planning Manager
