Minimum requirements:
Education:
- A university degree in subject area relevant to Water supply, sanitation and hygiene.
Work Experience:
- At least one year of relevant work experience in the relevant field.
Language Requirements:
- Fluency in English is required.
- Knowledge of Amharic as the National language of Ethiopia and Afan Oromo as the local language is an asset.
- Any other official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish) is an asset.
Desirables:
- Understands the rationale behind Humanitarian Reform, its main components and recent developments including the Transformative Agenda.
- Understanding of WASH sector and humanitarian policies and procedures is an advantage.
- Developing country work experience and/or familiarity with emergency
