The Deborah Foundation, established in 2019, is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of Ethiopian youth with mental disabilities through support in education, health, and policy advocacy. The foundation was created with a vision for a more inclusive Ethiopian society, inspired by the experiences of Deborah, the daughter of His Excellency Abadulla Gemeda.

Position: Social Worker, Psychologist, Psychiatry Nurse, or Related Field

Responsibilities:

• Provide assessments and interventions tailored to individual needs.
• Maintain accurate and confidential beneficiary records and documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to develop integrated care plans addressing both medical and educational needs.
• Participate in outreach programs to raise awareness of health care.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and organizational policies.
• Assist beneficiaries in completing registration forms accurately and ensure efficient processing of all required documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by executives and immediate supervisors.

Qualifications:

• Education: Relevant degree in Social Work, Psychology, Psychiatry, or a related field.
• Experience: No prior experience required.
• Skills:
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to the mission and values of the Deborah Foundation.

Salary:
