The Deborah Foundation, established in 2019, is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of Ethiopian youth with mental disabilities through support in education, health, and policy advocacy. The foundation was created with a vision for a more inclusive Ethiopian society, inspired by the experiences of Deborah, the daughter of His Excellency Abadulla Gemeda.
Position: Social Worker, Psychologist, Psychiatry Nurse, or Related Field
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments and interventions tailored to individual needs.
- Maintain accurate and confidential beneficiary records and documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to develop integrated care plans addressing both medical and educational needs.
- Participate in outreach programs to raise awareness of health care.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and organizational policies.
- Assist beneficiaries in completing registration forms accurately and ensure efficient processing of all required documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned by executives and immediate supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Education: Relevant degree in Social Work, Psychology, Psychiatry, or a related field.
- Experience: No prior experience required.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to the mission and values of the Deborah Foundation.
