Senior Editor
Job Description:
Alfa Multimedia Service and Alfa Digital are seeking an experienced and talented senior editor to join their team. The senior editor will be responsible for overseeing the editorial process, ensuring the quality and consistency of content across various multimedia platforms.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Edit and manipulate film footage to create polished, cohesive content.
- Review scripts, raw material, and plan the editing process to ensure continuity.
- Oversee the editorial workflow, maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
- Collaborate with writers, freelancers, and junior editors to gather and transform footage.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior video editors.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and knowledge of media production.
- Use computer systems, software, and hardware proficiently.
- Be adaptable, initiative-driven, and organized.
- Exhibit leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Develop creative, engaging content for various media platforms.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Film Studies, Cinematography, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Program Producer.
- Experience with digital solutions products and services, as well as YouTube programs.
- Proficiency in video and audio editing software.
- Experience with social media platforms.
- Strong understanding of senior editor principles and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated time management and efficiency in communication.
- Effective tool use and a growth mindset.
