Minimum requirements:
Education:
- University degree in one of the following fields: social sciences, public administration, law, public health, nutrition, international relations, business administration or other related disciplines.
Work Experience:
- At least one year of relevant work experience at the national or international level in programme/project development, planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation or administration.
Language Requirements:
- Fluency in English is required.
- Knowledge of Amharic as the National language of Ethiopia and Afan Oromo as the local language is an asset.
- Any other official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish) is an asset.
Desirables:
- Experience in assisting or facilitating trainings is desirable.
- Understanding of the cluster systems and formal training in cluster information management and emergency response is desirable.
- Experience in development and use of a database (e.g., M&E system) is desirable
- Developing country work experience and/or familiarity with emergency.
