Position 1: Education Officer

The Opportunity:
The Education Officer will be responsible for the assessment, response analysis, design, and implementation of the education components of integrated project emergency responses. This role involves coordinating with the Emergency Response team and relevant technical sectors to ensure an effective and timely response to immediate child education issues, while also considering longer-term needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and analyze educational needs in emergencies.
- Design and implement education components in response to emergencies.
- Coordinate with other team members and stakeholders, including education clusters.
- Ensure adherence to Safeguarding Children and Young People and Gender Equality and Inclusion policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: B.E. degree in Education, Pedagogy, Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE), Psychology, or related fields.
- Experience: 3-5 years of relevant work experience in emergency and development programs.
- Technical Skills:
- Experience mobilizing communities and training ECCE facilitators and school teachers.
- Knowledge of education and support for preschool children.
Required Skills:
- Teamwork and collaboration.
- Familiarity with educational platforms (e.g., e-learning software).
Desired Skills:
- Team building and leadership.
