About the company:
Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA Ethiopia) is non-political and not-profit International Non-Government-Organization working in Ethiopia since 1982, implementing relief and multi-sectoral development projects in different regions of Ethiopia.
ADRA Ethiopia is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following vacant positions for the project entitled: “Action to Strengthen Partnership for Inclusion, Resilience, and Education (ASPIRE) Project” in the Oromia and Sidama regions of Ethiopia.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following vacancies existing in ADRA Ethiopia.
1. Cashier Accountant
Duty station: Hawassa
Job Requirements:
- BA degree in Accounting or other related field from a recognized institute.
- Minimum of 5 years of direct related working experience on finance, out of which 4 years experience in NGO set up.
- Knowledge of sun plus, Peachtree accounting, SFRS, Computer management and application.
- Knowledge of project cycle management and report writing skill.
- Experience on Norad/ USAID/ BMZ funded project is a plus.
2. Community Mobilizer(Agriculture)
Duty station: Hawassa with frequent field travelling to nearby locations
Job Requirements:
- Level VI/ Diploma in Agriculture, Crop production, Vegetable production or other related field from recognized institutes (minimum of 5 years of direct related working experience out of these 3 years’ experience on NGO setup Practical on field experience is mandatory
- Knowledge of Computer management and application, data encoding packages (SPSS, SMART)
- Knowledge of project cycle management and report writing skill.
- knowledge of Sidama Language is a plus
3. Community Mobilizer(IGA)
Duty station: Adama with frequent field travelling to nearby areas.
Job requirements:
- BA Degree in Economics, Business Management or equivalent in other related field from recognized institutes (minimum of 5 years of direct related working experience on formal education projects out of these 3 years’ experience on NGO setup
- Knowledge of Computer management and application, data encoding packages (SPSS, SMART)
- Knowledge of project cycle management and report writing skill.
- knowledge of Afan Oromo is a plus.
4. Community Mobilizer(RE)
Duty station: Adama with frequent field travelling to nearby areas.
Job requirements:
- Level VI/ Diploma in Solar PV installation operation and maintenance or equivalent in other related RE field from recognized institutes (minimum of 5 years of direct related on working experience on formal education projects out of these 3 years’ Practical installation and maintenance experience on NGO setup
- Knowledge of Computer management and application, data encoding packages
- Knowledge of project cycle management and report writing skill.
- knowledge of Afan Oromo is a plus
Salary and Benefits: According to the Agency scale
Employment Contract: Defined period to be renewed annually
