Coffee Export Documentation Officer
Required qualification and experience
Education: BA Degree in Marketing Management, Business Administration or Business Management and other related fields from recognized University
Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in the export business
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Officer is responsible to perform the following coffee & Sesame export activities:
Ensure that all exports (coffee and sesame) are documented correctly.
As a documentation specialist, provide applicable coffee export documentation needed by each country of destination.
To ensure that export laws and regulations for export consignments under diverse payment terms are adhered to.
To submit timely document directives to independent surveyors and freight forwarders to necessitate timely processing of coffee exports.
To maintain up-to-date coffee export files in a structured and cataloged system.
Acting as a middleman, the export documentation supervisor communicates with forwarders associated with the shipment process to ease order volume flow.
Analyze and negotiate shipping cost with freight forwarders on the basis of weight and consignment volume.
Provide advice on the most affordable mode of transport to facilitate cost-effectiveness.
To verify freight received against receipt information and documentation.
To sign for cargo using the correct time, date, and signature.
To check inbound documentation for accuracy prior to reception and annotate receiving documentation with shortages, overages, and damages.
Coffee Stock Controller
Required qualification and experience
Education: BA Degree in Accounting or Management and other related fields from recognized University
having a minimum of two years relevant work experience in the same position
Key accountability and ownership
The Officer/Controller is responsible to perform the following activities:
Monitors and maintains inventory levels for different types of coffee stocks.
Records coffee purchases made, stock issued and maintain transactions in the database, regularly perform a physical inventory count, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports
Issue Export coffee by preparing appropriate documents.
Issue Reject coffee for local Markets by preparing appropriate documents.
Receives all incoming coffee by verifying the correctness of the weight by weighing scale.
Prepares all documentations that are required for coffee stock control.
Generate process and send required receiving documents for payment.
Ability to plan, coordinate and monitor daily specific operation.
keep records of items shipped, received, or transferred to another location
Keeping stores policies and procedures updated on an ongoing basis.
Written and oral communication skill is mandatory
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
