Position: Accounting and Executive Assistant (m/f)
Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Hours: 40 hours per week
Start Date: 23 September 2024 (or as agreed)
Overview:
The Embassy of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg is seeking an Accounting and Executive Assistant to support the Head of Mission and Deputy Head of Mission.
Requirements:
- Completed secondary education or equivalent.
- Fluent in French, English, and Amharic (spoken and written).
- Experience in budgeting and accounting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Flexibility, resilience, and discretion.
- Minimum two years of relevant experience, preferably in an international organization.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the Embassy’s Secretariat and staff agendas.
- Coordinate meetings with other embassies, UN agencies, and the African Union.
- Oversee archiving of correspondence.
- Assist in financial operations and data accuracy.
- Monitor embassy-related payments and contracts.
- Support organization of visits and events.
- Assist expatriate staff with administrative procedures.
Note: Employment governed by Ethiopian labor
