Job Summary:
A Junior Scrum Master is a member of an agile development team who assists in facilitating the implementation of Scrum methodology. They work closely with the Scrum Master and the development team to ensure the successful delivery of projects according to agile principles.
• Assisting the Scrum Master in organizing and facilitating Scrum ceremonies, such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborating with the development team to ensure the timely completion of tasks and adherence to Agile principles.
• Tracking and reporting project progress, including sprint burndown charts and team velocity.
• Assisting in removing any obstacles or impediments that may hinder the team’s progress.
• Supporting the Scrum Master in maintaining a productive and collaborative work environment.
• Participating in continuous improvement efforts to enhance the team’s Agile practices.
Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as a computer science, information technology, business.
Work Experience:
• A round 2+ years of experience of work.
Competencies/ Personal attributes:
• Familiarity with Agile principles and Scrum methodology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• A willingness to learn and grow in the role, as well as contribute to the team’s success.
